Put On...

Living in Freedom But we belong to the day. So let us control ourselves. Let us put the armor of faith and love on our chest. Let us put on the hope of salvation like a helmet. 1 Thessalonians 5:8     This week has been amazing after getting back on track with God. I really focused on prioritizing God so I've become really productive. My body has been feeling a lot better after losing some weight. My soul, heart, mind and spirit also feels a lot lighter, happier, and content. I relied on the Holy Spirit fully this week, which really brought peace into all aspects of my life. I decided to fast to pray for my friend's puppy and my friend's healing. So the Holy Spirit said to fast from Netflix and Youtube for 5 days. And this really helped me on focusing on God and giving Him more time in my day. Because of fasting from TV basically, I got the opportunity to listen to some cool Christian podcasts and I also got to read more. I got to read my mom's sermon about Giving Tha

I Am Who YOU Say I Am

Returning, Restoring, Refreshing I am chosen, not forsaken, I am who You say I am You are for me, not against me, I am who You say I am     This past week has been good. I don't remember much aside from the church retreat I went to this past weekend. It was absolutely amazing! Even though we had guests over, and I knew I was going to miss out on all the fun, but deep in my heart I knew I was craving to encounter with God. My soul was running dry. It was really difficult for me deal with loneliness and the bad emotions while I was still living in the same environment. The first encouragement from God was that I didn't have to pay for the retreat! It was 80 US dollars which is 2,400 NT for 2 and a half days. I don't know what that sounds like for you but it was over my budget. My friends said I didn't have to worry about the money, I just need to sign up! I was sponsored!!! I knew deep in my heart that this was a green light from God for sure, and nothing was going to s

Steadiness

Steadiness 23 The  Lord  makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; 24 though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the  Lord  upholds him with his hand.          Nothing's been happening too much out of the ordinary. The goodness and faithfulness of God is very present every single day. I had pretty bad swimmer's ear last week on my left ear and I couldn't hear for a few days. But with medicine and careful care my ear was fine in a week. We had 2 boys who turned 18. In the program when you are 18, you must leave. We held birthday parties for them and it was really sad for many of us who knew them well, who were like their family. I continued attending small group and church which has been great! I'm really excited for the church retreat that is going to happen this weekend. I don't know what to expect but I do know that the Holy Spirit will be moving a lot.           Bella's school has been going well but we might change schools so she can get better
