Waiting on the LORD

28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. Isaiah 40:31 NKJV These past 2 months have been a season of getting myself together. I finished the babysitting job but I continue to teach Mandarin to the 2 little kids. They are super cute and fun to teach. I miss the baby and the kids a lot, but I know that I need to prioritize my seminary studies as well as other things. I've gained a lot of weight because I stopped playing basketball... tennis and running. So, I've started to get back into playing sports and put myself ...

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone

  “Be brave enough to be bad at something new.”  — Unknown     I have been doing full time babysitting these past couple of months for a family from church. They just had a newborn baby and also have a 2 year old. So I agreed to help short-term. It's been really refreshing since I've never babysat full time. I've been learning a lot. Not only about taking care of kids and babies... but about what a family is like. I've seen a good example of what I would also like my future family to be like... if God permits. From taking care of the kids, it has opened my eyes to see how God loves me and how He sees me. Like... I don't have to do anything to earn my Father's love, He just lavishes His love on me. He loves me because of who I am and not what I do or have done in the past. It's really interesting and it has gotten me thinking!     Updates:     1. Lots have happened since the last blog...  I've attended 2 church youth camps, went back to Hope Mountain to help translate, went to serve at a children's camp, went to an evangelism training camp, continued to lead the evangelism ministry at church, and studying.  I've lost my phone as well a week ago. I started tutoring Mandarin and also volunteering at the Portuguese language center for refugees... I would say my life is pretty full. I was able to preach once a month expect for this month of July.  I would say that I'm still learning how to organize my schedule... I don't know why I pack myself with so many things... I would say I'm blessed to be able to play tennis, basketball... I have friends at church that care about me. But still... if I don't abide in Jesus and choose to rest in Him, I'll be burned out and depressed.  If you would like to know anything specifically, please let me know.  On May 31, it was the global evangelism day. Back home... ❤️

"Life takes you unexpected places, love brings you home."   — Unknown     I was blessed to be able to be back home in Taiwan to see my family and friends. I really needed a break. It's always good to be home. There's always something different about Taipei when I return. The street lights are different. Traffic rules are different. But my family and friends are the same is pouring love on me and always being excited to see me!       I got my hair done, my nails done, and my teeth cleaned! I exercised a lot. I had to prepare for the marathon. Praise the Lord when I got back to Brazil on April 10th, I finished running the full marathon in April 12th!!! I'm really proud of myself even though I didn't train properly. I'll give it another try next year, God is willing.      A few highlights from my trip to Taiwan would be just being with my family. Special Month of February in Brasil

Eventful January

"Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice." Proverbs 27:9     January was a very eventful month. I was at Hope Mountain since the second week of December. I was supposed to be back in São Paulo the 2nd of January. But I decided to stay a week longer to participate in the Hope Mountain Camp! We take the boys to a camp site where there's a pool, football field, and more! I changed my bus ticket to go back to São Paulo 3 times because it was very hard leaving Hope. I thank God and Aunt Corenne's family for making me feel so at home.      2025 Christmas was the first time I did not feel homesick since leaving Taiwan in 2022. Hope Mountain really is like home.      When I had to leave Caramelo and everyone at Hope Mountain… I was sad... But I know that in this new phase in my life... like the others before...
