Life begins at the end of your comfort zone

  1.     I have been doing full time babysitting these past couple of months for a family from church. They just had a newborn baby and also have a 2 year old. So I agreed to help short-term. It's been really refreshing since I've never babysat full time. I've been learning a lot. Not only about taking care of kids and babies... but about what a family is like. I've seen a good example of what I would also like my future family to be like... if God permits. From taking care of the kids, it has opened my eyes to see how God loves me and how He sees me. Like... I don't have to do anything to earn my Father's love, He just lavishes His love on me. He loves me because of who I am and not what I do or have done in the past. It's really interesting and it has gotten me thinking!

  3.     Updates:
  4.     1. Ministry: The last time I preached was in June and I have not been put on the preaching schedule for the Mandarin service since! I have not had time to continue organizing the evangelism outreach activities at church. I attend the young adult small group when I can. I will resume ministry when I am done with babysitting, which will go until the end of September.

  6.     2. Seminary: I have been enjoying the classes and learning a lot. I have book reports to turn in. 

  8.     Prayer requests:
  9.     1. That I can have good time management so I can finish my seminary assignments. 
  10.     2. That the children I'm taking care of can know God more. 
  11.     3. That I can see what God is leading me to as I come to the end of my babysitting job in terms of ministry involvement.
  12. 4.⁠ ⁠That I can get my visa renewed before November 12th!

"Life takes you unexpected places, love brings you home."   — Unknown     I was blessed to be able to be back home in Taiwan to see my family and friends. I really needed a break. It's always good to be home. There's always something different about Taipei when I return. The street lights are different. Traffic rules are different. But my family and friends are the same is pouring love on me and always being excited to see me!       I got my hair done, my nails done, and my teeth cleaned! I exercised a lot. I had to prepare for the marathon. Praise the Lord when I got back to Brazil on April 10th, I finished running the full marathon in April 12th!!! 2025 Recap and Things I'm looking Forward To

    This year has been absolutely crazy. I’ve traveled 12 times on the bus from São Paulo and back to Hope Mountain. I’ve traveled to Cambodia, Thailand, and Nepal. I’ve been to two new places in Brazil: one in Rio de Janeiro and the other is Curitiba. I’ve also been blessed to go to the States and Taiwan this year… So I would say… I’ve indeed traveled around the world!!!       I wasn’t  expecting this much traveling. But God knew it all. I moved twice this year as well. At the end of June, I moved from Hope Mountain to JOCUM Casa. And then in December, I moved from JOCUM Casa to the dorm of a Taiwanese Church within the same city.        How did this year start? I guess the word would be: crazy! Eventful January

"Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice." Proverbs 27:9     January was a very eventful month. I was at Hope Mountain since the second week of December. I was supposed to be back in São Paulo the 2nd of January. But I decided to stay a week longer to participate in the Hope Mountain Camp! We take the boys to a camp site where there's a pool, football field, and more! I changed my bus ticket to go back to São Paulo 3 times because it was very hard leaving Hope. I thank God and Aunt Corenne's family for making me feel so at home.      2025 Christmas was the first time I did not feel homesick since leaving Taiwan in 2022.
