Back home... ❤️

"Life takes you unexpected places, love brings you home."

— Unknown

I was blessed to be able to be back home in Taiwan to see my family and friends. I really needed a break. It's always good to be home. There's always something different about Taipei when I return. The street lights are different. Traffic rules are different. But my family and friends are the same is pouring love on me and always being excited to see me!
I got my hair done, my nails done, and my teeth cleaned! I exercised a lot. I had to prepare for the marathon. Praise the Lord when I got back to Brazil on April 10th, I finished running the full marathon in April 12th!!! I'm really proud of myself even though I didn't train properly. I'll give it another try next year, God is willing.
A few highlights from my trip to Taiwan would be just being with my family. I went to most of the Bible studies that my mom was leading. I ran with her. I played tennis with my dad and went to the gym and the pool afterwards. I got to spend some time with my brother. I ask God to protect my mind from negative thoughts because as a missionary, this is what I have given up on to go to a different land to fulfill God's will. God is gracious and His mercies never come to an end. I love my family and friends. But I gotta love Jesus more. That's what my parents  help for me to focus on: To love Jesus more than anything.
Thank you all for your prayers and support.
Here are some updates as to what I'm doing now in this new phase of my life in São Paulo.

<Updates>:
1. I'm currently serving at the Taiwanese Presbyterian Church of São Paulo.

2. I'm in charge of the evangelism training and future urban evangelism outreaches.

3. I'm a part of the refugee ministry with one of the YWAM bases. We reach out to Muslims. We make house visits and create space for conversation as we build trust and friendship.

4. I'm a volunteer at a refugee organization that provides housing and also Portuguese classes to the new immigrants. 80% of the students are Muslims.

5. I'm serving at another Taiwanese Presbyterian Church called Santa Eterna. I'm going to help with the worship team and also possibly preach there along side with others from my church.

6. I started my seminary classes with FLAM. It's been pretty exciting so far. I can understand 98% of the content. Praise the LORD!

7. I'm prioritizing serving in my church's Mandarin service. I'm already preaching once a month and will continue to do so. I'll be involved with their small group. Hopefully with the evangelism training, we can go out and reach the nations, bringing people to JESUS.

<Prayer Requests>
1. I can have good time management with all these ministries at hand. All glory to God. Apart from Him, I can do nothing. Please pray that in everything I do, I give God the glory and also have wisdom in communicating with different people.

2. Have good rest and a healthy lifestyle. In all that I do I want to glorify God.

3. Keep surrendering my body, soul and spirit to God, that includes my mind and heart. Because I do miss my family and there are many distractions around me. Whether it's food, friendships, social media, entertainment...

Thank you all for reading my blog and for praying for me!

To God be the glory great things He has done…
