Marking 2 years in Brasil

    The whole month of March has been nice. I came back from São Paulo and rested a while before heading to the States and Taiwan.

    It's been a huge blessing being able to rest a little before traveling once again. I was given the opportunity to preach once at church. I helped organize 2 girls' birthdays. And I was able to lead volleyball practice a couple times. I've played and taught a little bit of basketball with the boys. I was able to jog along the beach with my dog. I was able to celebrate Caramelo's birthday as well!!! God's been so good to me no matter what I do, where I go. 

    整個三月都能感受到上帝滿滿的恩典。我從聖保羅回來後，有大概兩個禮拜的時間休息了一陣子，因為三月的最後一個禮拜我即將要去美國及台灣看家人、朋友。

    能夠在再次旅行之前稍微休息一下是一件非常恩典的事。在這兩個禮拜當中，我有機會在教會講道一次、我幫忙安排兩個女孩的生日、我還帶了幾次排球練習、我和男孩們一起打籃球，我也能夠和我的狗一起在海灘慢跑。我還慶祝了我的狗的兩歲生日！！！無論我做什麼、去哪裡，上帝都對我很好。感謝神！

This was a dream come true because I've been praying that I can spend time with these girls from our small group before I leave. So, this was truly a blessing. Most of these girls never bowled before. It was a great girls night.
這真是夢想成真，因為我一直禱告在離開之前可以和我們小組的這些女孩們共度時光。所以這真的是一個祝福。這些女孩大多從未打過保齡球，她們玩得很快樂。

這是我陪伴的青少年們，他們屬於Hope Mountain，是我服事的半途之家/孤兒院。

My first time preaching this year! Praise the Lord! 
今年第一次講道，一切榮耀歸與神。

It was one of the boys' birthday, so we took him and the girlfriend out to the mall for dinner. 
因為其中一個青少年的生日，我們帶他跟他的女朋友去百貨公司逛街吃飯。

I met with friends for the last time as I am making my way to serve as a staff for a YWAM base here in Brazil called JOCUM Casa. The guy was my first ever friend I made in Brazil.
我和這兩個朋友見面，因為我將到巴西的青年使命團其中一個據點叫 JOCUM Casa 當同工。
右邊的男生是我在巴西認識的第一個朋友。

This was my dog, Caramel's 2nd birthday!!! Why is it so special? Because we found him when he was 2 months old and I was also just in Brazil for 2 months. So I made his birthday the same day I arrived in Brazil. I truly believe he is God's gift to me, personally, as he is a huge joy to others as well.
這是我的狗狗焦糖的兩歲生日！！！為什麼這麼特別呢？因為我們是在牠兩個月大的時候找到牠的，而我也剛到巴西兩個月。所以我把牠的生日定在我到巴西的同一天。我真的相信牠是上帝賜給我個人的禮物，牠也帶給其他人喜樂。

Life Back in Brazil

  It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.   Stand firm,  then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1     Being back has been great. I arrived in São Paulo after two days of travel. I went to JOCUM Casa to drop off a luggage. JOCUM Casa is the future ministry that I will be a part of. JOCUM is YWAM, Youth With A Mission. God has led me to move to São Paulo to serve at this YWAM base for the next two years. I'll be officially starting in July! I've volunteered there in January and February. And most of my things are there already. After resting for a day there, I took the bus back to Hope Mountain, the place where I've been for the past two years here in Brazil. I've decided to stay because I thought it would be good to volunteer here while six short-term mission teams from America will be at Hope Mountain in the months of May and June!     I've been baking a lot. Transitioning

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,  for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."   Joshua 1:9          These past weeks have been amazing again. As the teams left, more teams came. The team from Indiana is our friends. They had 19 people. It was everyone on their church's mission board. And they brought their kids with them. It was a wonderful experience. Definitely exhausting but super fun serving them and serving God in being their friend and translator. We helped build a gazebo! We did a special dinner for Valentine's Day for the boys. We played Legos and helped with the swim classes for our new kids program at Hope Mountain. I had a fun time.
