40 Day Fast: September 18th to October 27th, 2024

Fasting 40 days...

September 18th to October 27th

This time has been interesting. Tons of ups and downs. Finished fasting for 40 days. I wasn't able to be consistent at times so it felt like I failed. But it was actually really fruitful. I've experienced wondrous things when I was connected with God and that's how my life should be. I've learned that building Godly habits and really allowing God take out the sinful roots are so important. Having accountability is very important as well. Thank you all for praying.

I really felt that after the fast, God allowed me to truly experience this passage in John 14:26-27.

26 But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor--Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.
27 Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let my perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
    John 14:26-27 AMP

I pray that this will bless you as well!

We had a friendship volleyball game and we teamed up with another group of volleyball girls! I made new friends! One of them didn't know I wasn't Brazilian! She said she thought I was Brazilian but with an accent. Lol. XD. I was really happy to be considered Brazilian.

I made bread pudding and mac n cheese for the girls' small group!
I enjoyed making it a lot!

This is the girls' small group. I love my girls. ❤️❤️❤️

This is the adults' small group where we have very open discussions about faith!

My family.

I was able to continue to serve in the reception team at my church!
It always fills me up with much joy!

I'm at the bottom left. This was the service for young adults that I enjoy going to.

We were at the baby shower of our lovely colleague of Hope Mountain.

Right: a picture with a family who used to work at Hope Mountain as house parents.

My other family.

My son, Caramelo. He brightens my day.
