Living With Purpose

 It was one of those days...

    Friday was one of those days where I did everything that I could and still was bored... It was a rainy day, so I couldn't go swimming or anything... I did my quiet time, walked the dog, fed the dog, worshipped in my room, I went to buy candy for youth group later on that night, and got ready to lead worship on Saturday... 
    We still had volleyball so that was fun! My team played really well despite my team was at a disadvantage because we had a girl that didn't really play volleyball. After volleyball we celebrated together one of the girl's birthday in our youth group! It was a huge blessing for the birthday girl as her father was in the hospital and was in critical state. He still is. So you can pray for him. 
    Later on, youth group was great! I felt that God was speaking to me about that whole day. Even though I felt bored and I didn't do much, God was preparing something for me. I sung the same song in the morning as I was worshipping by myself as the song we sung at youth group!!! It was like... God saying, "See, Abby! This day wasn't worthless. I have a surprise for you."

     The Americans left 2 days ago. There were many tears shed including mine. I’ve only known them for 10 days and they are already family to me. I really felt like I was ministered by these lovely, faithful and pure-hearted disciples of Jesus. They are a gift from God and a demonstration of His love for all of us. Amazing Birthday Weekend

Something I've Never Wished For NO ONE has seen God at any time. But if we LOVE one another [with unselfish concern] , God ABIDES in us, and HIS LOVE [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is COMPLETED and PERFECTED in us.  1 John 4:12     Lots of things has happened and I should've blogged earlier but here I am now. I will share with you every blessing that has happened in the past few weeks.      First, IT WAS THANKSGIVING!!!!!! We had lovely friends from Indiana that came to visit us and we prepared a HUGE Thanksgiving dinner for all the boys and volleyball girls. We invited everyone we could! And we had a blessed time. It was really hard to practice self-control as we had mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes and marshmallows, pumpkin pies, apple crumble, vanilla ice cream and the more! A very WARM Christmas

 It's... beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Christmas trees gladly wore the colorful lights of happiness, Joyful noises fill the small plaza spreading cheer here and there. Behind the glamorous decorations, There's somebody who's at the end of their rope, But they don't know they are not alone, His name is Prince of Peace His name is Emmanuel, the God who is with us.  His name is El Roi, the God who sees.     I know I'm a little behind on blogging but I'll make it up to you guys. Christmas season was tough, not gonna lie.
