FOOTBALL!!!! LET'S GO!!!

  Football... Here we go!!!

    I can conclude that Saturday was a football day. Football as in "soccer." We got to go to a game. Even though our team lost the championship game by one goal, I still had a really fun time. 
    Later on, we went to another football club to watch the live game. I'm beginning to be a die-hard fan of the Corinthians. It's a Brazilian team in Sao Paulo. I find the football culture really interesting. People are SOOOO passionate and loyal about their team! There's really 2 sides of the coin for this. Some people really take it too far... they always end up fighting... When I was at the live game, I was thinking what if we were all fired up for Christ like this??? I seldom see people fired up for JESUS like this. I hope I keep the fire going for Jesus!!!

 Small Group!

    I forgot to mention I got to lead worship for my small group! It was really fulfilling because worshipping is my calling. And it was like heaven singing with us because I was singing in English while others were singing in Portuguese. I'll be looking forward to that day when all nations come together to praise before the throne of God!

     The Americans left 2 days ago. There were many tears shed including mine. I’ve only known them for 10 days and they are already family to me. I really felt like I was ministered by these lovely, faithful and pure-hearted disciples of Jesus. They are a gift from God and a demonstration of His love for all of us. Amazing Birthday Weekend

Something I've Never Wished For NO ONE has seen God at any time. But if we LOVE one another [with unselfish concern] , God ABIDES in us, and HIS LOVE [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is COMPLETED and PERFECTED in us.  1 John 4:12     Lots of things has happened and I should've blogged earlier but here I am now. I will share with you every blessing that has happened in the past few weeks.      First, IT WAS THANKSGIVING!!!!!! We had lovely friends from Indiana that came to visit us and we prepared a HUGE Thanksgiving dinner for all the boys and volleyball girls. We invited everyone we could! And we had a blessed time. It was really hard to practice self-control as we had mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes and marshmallows, pumpkin pies, apple crumble, vanilla ice cream and the more! A very WARM Christmas

 It's... beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Christmas trees gladly wore the colorful lights of happiness, Joyful noises fill the small plaza spreading cheer here and there. Behind the glamorous decorations, There's somebody who's at the end of their rope, But they don't know they are not alone, His name is Prince of Peace His name is Emmanuel, the God who is with us.  His name is El Roi, the God who sees.     I know I'm a little behind on blogging but I'll make it up to you guys. Christmas season was tough, not gonna lie.
